What it does
Pi Remote is a mobile client for Pi, the coding agent. Add a Linux server you control, connect over SSH, choose a workspace, and start a Pi session from your phone. You can follow the conversation, see which files changed, review the differences, and commit or revert the task’s changes.
What stays where
There is no account and no operator backend. Your prompts, code, differences and model replies stay on your phone and your server. The app connects directly to your server; the only other connection is the one you configure between your server and the model provider you choose. The Privacy Policy describes this in more detail.
What it is not
Pi Remote is not a sandbox, a model subscription, a code host or a backup service. Pi runs with the permissions of the server user that started it. Review changes before you commit, push or deploy. The app can record a baseline so a task’s changes can be reviewed and reverted, but that is a convenience, not a backup.
Status
Pi Remote is in an early stage. Features may change. It is built for iOS and Android. The Terms of Service set out the licence, the risks of running an agent on your own machine, and the limits of our liability.
